Contrary to popular belief, it’s not the color of your hair that determines the feasibility of laser treatment, but rather the color of your armpit hair. For this reason, it’s important not to shave this area before your first consultation.

For the treatment to be effective, your hair must contain a certain amount of melanin (the pigment responsible for its color). White, gray, very blonde, or certain shades of red hair, which lack melanin, unfortunately do not respond to the laser.

You may feel a slight sensation, similar to a small rubber band snap on the skin, but this discomfort is completely manageable.

Post-laser hair removal care

Here are some recommendations to take care of your skin after the session:

Avoid applying deodorant for 24 hours.
We recommend applying a moisturizer morning and night for the next 3 days.
Avoid swimming, the sea, as well as very hot showers or baths for 48 hours after the session.

As for the slight tingling sensation felt during the session, it disappears immediately once the laser treatment stops.

Between laser hair removal sessions, here are some tips to follow:

Is one laser hair removal session enough?
